This prestigious BREEAM ‘Very Good’ refurbishment was undertaken over ten floors and included a new visionary copper entrance with level access from St Vincent Street.
The works were undertaken to Category A standard with the previous tenants’ fitouts on various floors stripped out and new open plan office space created. Extensive structural works were required in the first phase of the project including steel frame construction works to enable a new concrete floor installation & extensive roof repair works. Internal refurbishment included:
Remodelling of interiors on all levels including replacement of all ceilings, floors, joinery works, internal walls, doors and fixtures and fittings
- Replacement of 2 passenger lifts
- High Quality finishes to all floors, wall and ceilings – including extensive stone floor renewal and ceramic tiling works
- Provision of bespoke joinery reception desking & bespoke external staircase
- Extensive glass balustrading through out Full refit of extensive shower/toilets/ changing areas
The M&E elements of this project were a core part of the works undertaking.
Works included; power data, potable water, foul and rainwater drainagee, sprinkler, ventilation, gas, heating, fire alarm & detection, lightning protection and lift installations within the building.
Morris & Spottiswood managed the design, detailing, supply, installation and testing and commissioning of all new installations and the submission of all relevant information to the Statutory authorities.
