The Printworks Manchester

This project involved the full strip out of 2 units, the ground floor and first floor. The requirement was to divide the top floor into two sections.

Works included the removal of a steel staircase, escalator and lift, breaking through slab and infilling
voids with metal decking and reinforced concrete.
Also included was the full strip out of the M&E and testing & commissioning.

This project was completed in a live environment (7am-3am) and all noisy works were carried out from 2am - 10am to minimise disruption to the building users.

All arrangements were in line with the centre's processes and we liaised fully with the centre manager and security throughout the works. We ensured that all Public areas were
fully protected and cordoned off as per our H&S Plan. Following the strip out, we supplied and installed
new steelwork throughout.
