We are putting a smile on Scotland's roads
Have you spotted our vans yet? With messages like Mince & Tatties, Salt & Sauce, Burke & Hare and Jack & Victor, it's hard not to smile when one goes by.
Our fleet of vans travel to customers up and down the country and some of them have been emblazoned with good old Scottish phrases. We've used the ‘&' from our logo to link well known combinations of Scottish characters and foods.
Chairman George Morris explains: "When it was time for us to refresh some of our vans, we took the opportunity to be a little lighthearted.
"The messages on our vans are very local and pay homage to our roots in Scotland (George Morris Sr & John Spottiswood set up the original business in Glasgow in 1925). We also wanted to include the sense of humour Scots are known for all over the world.
"There's an element of having a bit of a laugh at ourselves as well - not many companies would want Mince & Tatties on the sides of their vans. We talked about it with the van drivers first and they were all up for it. Basically, we hope to make people smile as our vans pass by."
