Supply Chain

We are working hard at Morris & Spottiswood to create an inclusive culture for our subcontractors and suppliers; allowing them to enjoy the benefits of a consistency in approach, create momentum and an appropriate environment for change and different thinking. This helps us to continually deliver our projects on time and within budget for our clients.

Capturing best practise and learning from our supply chain, in addition to facilitating early involvement, help maintain our long term competitiveness and first-rate service delivery.

We understand the need to strike a balance between the necessary processes without stifling innovation. Construction has only recently grasped the full importance of supply chain and the move to measure it by anything other than bottom line ‘face value’ profit, has not been an easy one.

At Morris & Spottiswood we understand the challenges and, by a focus on streamlining the number of subcontractors and suppliers we work with, allowing us to work more productively with the remainder. Our future aim is to further assist our clients by positioning our supply chain more upstream and sitting alongside our clients. We firmly believe we can bring further advantages of our lean and agile supply chain to our clients.
