Local Community

Here at Morris & Spottiswood, we understand the importance of investing in local communities. Our 600 employees live in and around all three offices in Glasgow, Edinburgh and Manchester. Making a difference locally not only benefits those directly involved, it also has a positive impact on the lives of our employees and their families.

Our most recent community project involved the donation of £25,000 towards the refurbishment of Acre Community Hall in Maryhill, in conjunction with Glasgow Housing Association’s Wider Action Programme involving Summerston Acre Local Housing Organisation.

The donation paved the way for the installation of a new kitchen and modern appliances, new windows, heating, lighting, floor coverings, sanitary ware, entrance doors and alarm systems.

Previous community projects included the donation of £10,000 worth of improvements to Yoker Primary School in Glasgow; as well as a £3,500 playground makeover project at Corpus Christi School in Manchester.
