Learning and Development
Learning and development plays a significant part in our success and we actively encourage employees to undertake learning which will further their job skills. Not only does this benefit the individuals concerned but it also makes a significant contribution to the business’s ability to achieve its strategic goals.
The learning and development process is the single most important means for developing individual effectiveness, consistent with the aims of the business, being designed to:
- Enable employees to update and extend their knowledge, skills and expertise to increase effectiveness in the jobs they perform
- Enhance job satisfaction and motivation in order that employees may contribute fully to business success
- Assist employees in achieving their full potential
- Contribute to the establishment of a culture which thrives upon change, innovation and development
From apprentices and S/NVQs through to professional body qualifications and business school masters degrees, we make our learning & development policy a living and vital part of our business.
