Site Manager, Frameworks, Warrington

We are currently recruiting for a site manager to work within our Frameworks division in Warrington. Personal Attributes

The successful candidate will have experience as an established site manager within the Main Contracting sector with aspirations to grow and excel within the company. The role will assume responsibility for the day to day running of the project, including the management of all on site activities and labour. The successful candidates will hold a thorough working knowledge of site set up and delivery to enable the safe, timely delivery of a quality product. A critical area of skill is the promotion of a safe working environment to maximise safety with direct employees, agency staff and subcontractors and to take necessary action where serious or repeated disregard for safety is shown. Successful candidates will also be confident in attending and chairing site progress meetings – both internally and with subcontractors –providing progress updates/minutes as required.

Acting as a first point of contact for the site operations team to offer support and advice, the role assumes overall responsibility to ensure the onsite labour team have the requisite skill, qualifications, and experience to carry out their activities by regularly monitoring performance and quality of work.

This role will report to a Project Manager/Contracts Manager, depending on the nature of the live contract. The Site Manager will be predominantly site based during live contracts and attendance at a base office location may be required for in-house/client meetings. Candidates must be willing to work out with standard working hours (including backshift, nightshift and weekends where required). Working patterns will be explained at the outset of any project.

Successful candidates must be willing to work out of the Warrington base location and be based on site as and when the job requires.

The successful candidates must:

  • Be flexible in terms of hours work
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
  • Be computer literate, be fully IT literate in MS Word and Excel (at intermediate level)
  • Hold a CSCS Regular site visitor card
