We are currently seeking an experienced and qualified Working Supervisor based in Glasgow/Edinburgh to work on fitout and refurbishment contracts.
The role of Working Supervisor acts as a supporting role to the site management team. Therefore, you should be able to coordinate site operatives’ workload, be comfortable delivering toolbox talks and analysing RAMS. You should be able to communicate with senior management and lead by example in all aspects of work, in particular in the proactive management of Health & Safety.
You should be a strong team player with a decisive problem solving ability and excellent time management skills.
Good organisational skills with the ability to organise self and others (supply chain partners).
Analyse and provide technical advice and solutions
Good oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non–technical people – including Clients.
Ability to use tablet /laptop to complete site based paperwork
Able to prioritise own workload where relevant, and work under own initiative with minimal supervision.
Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety.
Strong sense of client focus.
Willingness to assist in any reasonable request for works on site(s)
Ability to work alone as well as part of a team
Flexibility and willingness to work outside normal office hours if necessary

UKATA Asbestos Awareness
First Aid Certificate
Full UK driving licence
To carry out a variety of shift patterns to meet Client requirements: including but not limited to day shift, back shift, nightshift, weekend working.
Rates of pay as per CIJC, negotiable subject to experience.
Hours of Work – 8am to 4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday
