Construction firm Morris & Spottiswood has secured appointment to eight public sector frameworks following a period of ongoing success.

Morris & Spottiswood has recently been appointed to the YORbuild Framework, which seeks to deliver new build and refurbishment projects as well as new housing up to 25 units. This comes after other Framework wins, including Crown Commercial Services (Department for Work & Pensions and Government Property Agency), Procure Partnerships, Pagabo, and NHS Shared Business Services across the north of England, the Midlands and Scotland. With access to a significant pipeline of work across sectors, including central and local government, defence, health and education, Morris & Spottiswood offers greater efficiency and value for framework members and their communities.

Morris & Spottiswood has recently delivered security and design works for HM Land Registry’s Office Reception and Access area, procured via the Pagabo Framework. Commenting on the project, Martin Illingworth, Senior Facilities Business Partner (North) at HM Land Registry, said: “The Morris & Spottiswood team have been great to work with. They have been responsive to our needs and have been very helpful – we were impressed with how quickly they have responded to problems. We were particularly impressed with how they came up with design solutions to progress the scheme at Hull and found the team’s commitment, knowledge and experience to be of a high standard. We are looking forward to further developing our working relationships on other schemes.”

Matthew Wall, Public Sector Leader at Morris & Spottiswood, said: “Over the last few years, we have focused on securing public sector frameworks that align with our business’ values and mission. Having built our public sector portfolio from the ground up, these contracts now form a significant portion of the business and have driven impressive growth, particularly within the Warrington and Leeds offices.

“To support this growth, we are expanding our team with the appointment of a new frameworks manager, which will support our continued provision of a true end to end delivery, from architectural support to M&E engineering across the public sector, and further develop our position as the leading construction services firm.”

Jon Dunwell, Chief Executive Officer at Morris & Spottiswood, comments: “We are proud to be working on public sector frameworks, having recently secured a position on YORbuild and been reappointed to a number of other Government Frameworks. These agreements enable us to provide a range of services across a diverse mix of projects and build longstanding client relationships.

“Our growing public sector portfolio is a testament to the hard work and technical excellence of the team and we look forward to working in partnership with clients who procure via these frameworks.”
