This project involved the construction and full fit-out of a new portal frame warehouse at Britvic’s manufacturing facility in Rugby. This work included the construction of a roof-mounted plant deck, a cantilever canopy over a goods yard and a new toilet block. It also involved an M&E HVAC installation to enable a new production line. The project area was completely segregated from the surrounding facility whilst these works were being undertaken, which meant that our activities had no impact on Britvic’s on-going operations.

"M&S have played a major part in helping us deliver one of the most transformational projects ever undertaken within the soft drinks industry. The final result at Rugby is a fantastic showcase for M&S to demonstrate to future partners and represents the excellent business relationship we have had."

PARTNERSHIP WORKING DELIVERS SUCCESS

Well managed and open communication across all levels of the project team ensured success. This was achieved through daily liaison and pre-planning meetings. A Key Account Management (KAM) strategy was also implemented. This involved the introduction of KAM dashboard reporting to drive operational actions across the project team. All construction activities were carefully sequenced to ensure that the project was delivered on budget and on time.

The project was part of major transformational change at Britvic which will enable the company to enhance its capability and flexibility and introduce further innovations across its product range. As Britvic’s preferred construction services supplier, we have been involved in most aspects of this massive undertaking.
