Technical Services Manager, Warrington, Leeds or Bristol

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Technical Services Manager to work within Morris & Spottiswood, England Division. This role can be based at one of the following office locations: Warrington, Leeds or Bristol however, Hybrid working is available.

This is a key technical leadership role, responsible for managing and delivering high-quality MEP services across multiple projects and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide MEP support across multiple schemes and frameworks.
  • Contribute to the overall project delivery of MEP from the design stage to project completion.
  • Represent the organisation at client, contractor, and consultant meetings, ensuring the highest standards are upheld.
  • Chair meetings with contractors and design teams.
  • Undertake compliance and commissioning reviews of MEP construction packages, preparing detailed reports and presenting findings to design teams.
  • Experience preferred with liaising and managing statutory authorities, arranging for new connections, Disconnections, and diversion of supplies.
  • Ensure Organisation's Electrical Health and Safety rules and procedures are being followed and maintained.


The ideal candidate will hold a recognised apprenticeship or an equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and have a minimum of 10 years' industry experience, preferably within the retail sector. They will possess in-depth knowledge of Building Services, Mechanical and Electrical installations, along with strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Additionally, they should have experience collaborating closely with clients, contractors, and design teams.
