JOB SATISFACTION

At Morris and Spottiswood, you’ll be involved in some of the most exciting construction and fit-out projects taking place in the UK. The job satisfaction this brings is proved by the fact that people really like working for us. We’re very proud of our staff retention record, with nearly a quarter of our staff having been with us for more than 10 years. Our longest serving team member is a skilled joiner who joined us in 1984.

TRAINING AND SUPPORT

We provide regular, on-going training to make sure that all of our staff are up-to-speed with the latest best practice. We invest in people from the earliest stages of their careers and have trained hundreds of apprentices in all key trades, including joiners, plumbers, electricians, engineers and floor layers. We also have a graduate programme and support our staff so that they can undertake further education. Many of our people have completed a BSc in subjects such as Quantity Surveying and Construction Management, while working for us. This extends right though the company with advanced leadership courses, alongside strategic courses for senior management at Salford University Business School.
